The incumbent will report to the General Foreman and will be responsible for the following:

• Electrical maintenance and new installations  
• Installing and maintaining air-conditioners and cooling units 
• Fault-finding on electrical equipment 
• Attending training/safety courses as required
• Assisting in the creation of a safe working environment in the department and all responsibility areas of the department.

We require the services of a person with a Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) and registration as an Installation Electrician with the Department of Labour, exposure to airconditioning will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will be a South African citizen with at least five years’ practical working experience and a valid Code 08 driver’s licence. The person will also have to work overtime and perform standby duties as required.
